RPET Fabric
RPET fabric or Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate is a new reusable and sustainable material on the rise. Before recycling, PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) is commonly known as Polyester.
Recycle PET fabric makes use of recycled environment-friendly fiber raw materials recycled from Coke bottles. The recycled Coke bottles are rolled into pieces and then processed by wire. It can be recycled and effectively reduce carbon dioxide emissions, saving nearly 80% of energy compared with the conventional process to produce polyester fiber.
Positive Impact for the Environment
One ton of recycled PET yarn = 67,000 plastic bottles = 4.2 tons of carbon dioxide reduced = 0.0364 tons of oil saved = 6.2 tons of water saved.
Lessen our carbon footprint since it takes less energy to recycle RPET compared to manufacturing PET.
Lessen CO2 emissions since the lightweight properties of RPET plastics cut down fuel costs during transport.
Lessen the amount of PET plastics thrown into landfills or the ocean, preventing further pollution.
Reusability and Practicality
Not only is RPET beneficial for the environment, it's also practical bag's operations! Here's why:
RPET turns consumer waste into a valuable resource.
RPET helps us get closer to our sustainability goals.
